Cryptic Escape goes LIVE on Twitch.tv!
Throwing you guys another site update. Always something exiting going on here at C E headquarters. I’ve come to the conclusion that I simply do not have enough gnomes to do all my work so I’ve enlisted (drafted) a few more people to push things a little further again this year.
One of these pushes which has been in the works from quite sometime is we wanted to set up a live streaming channel for various activities. Last year we raised a lot of money for ExtraLife and the Chattanooga Children’s Hospital from playing video games and streaming it live.
This year we want to do better and raise even more money. So we’ve invested into more technology and site infrastructure so we can make the LIVE streaming a permanent thing. It’s exciting because I’ve believed for years that the new movies are in fact the video games.
If only we can keep greedy corporate idiots out of the games and keep those demons in their office maybe they could stop screwing up the games. *cough* No Man’s Sky.
So this is how it’s going to go down. You may have noticed that we have pending copyrights for some upcoming franchises and projects that we have coming up. It’ll be a bit longer before we start releasing those because we want to do it right. No DLC if you get my meaning.
We are going to tie in our future franchises and the LIVE streaming by giving you a chance to see what the character’s could look like in the various games and place them in that universe. See what they would do in that particular universe so it becomes more like a live interaction between our intellectual properties and yourself.
It’ll be awesome!
It will be like watching television to catch your favorite shows to see these characters in the upcoming titles or past favorites. We’re doing this because the technology in these games and their perspective character generators are advanced enough that we can pretty much emulate what we have planned as a test market before we release our own titles.
Starting next week you will be able to log in and view the game we’re playing to it’s entirety. No skipping cut scenes so that way you the viewer will be able to enjoy the game as well. Maybe you had a bad paycheck and couldn’t buy the game or you just didn’t have the time, well, we have you covered.
Officially on October 10 at 10 A.M. Eastern Standard time you can click on the link in the menu bar and you will go to our live channel. From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. M-F (unless otherwise posted) we’ll be progressing along. We will post the schedule for the week on Monday so you’ll be able to keep up with your game.
The link is already live, but we’re just ironing out the glitches so you can go ahead and check us out at twitch.tv/cryptic_escape. You can check there any time you like. One of our new contributors will be also playing random things in the evening just so some people can get their game fix.
So check us out!
